Employers have a duty to protect their employees from becoming ill by exposure to chemicals and other hazardous substances in the workplace. That’s why the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations were developed in 2002 and amended in 2005.
This course introduces employers to their obligations under the regulation and helps them to understand the following:
- The positive impact of COSHH.
- The effect of hazardous substances on human health.
- Which key methods will help them to comply with the regulations.
After completing this training there is an online test and, once successful, you can download and print your certificate to be displayed in your business.
This module covers the following subjects:
- An introduction to COSHH
- Complying with COSHH regulations.
Approximately 1 hour. However, the learning is self-paced so the course can be completed at your convenience and your progress will be recorded throughout.
This training is designed for employers who want to comply with the CSOSH regulations 2002.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course.
This course content has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
