The legal workplace training requirements covered in this course include:

  • Health and safety in the workplace
  • Risk assessment
  • Accident prevention, investigation and reporting
  • Communication and environment
  • Hazards and controls: fire and electricity
  • Hazards and controls: Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Hazards and controls: manual handling and Display Screen Equipment (DSE)


Approximately 3–4 hours. However, the learning is self-paced so the course can be completed at your convenience and your progress will be recorded throughout.

This training is designed for employees who need to undertake health and safety training, whether they are self-employed or working within an organisation of any size.
